With 60 kilometers of slopes ranging from 1,500 to 3,250 meters, the Hintertux Glacier offers highly diverse enjoyment for every skier, whether a beginner or a seasoned pro, and every snowboarder. A tip for powder snow enthusiasts are the fantastic freeride runs in the Lärmstange area. The Betterpark Hintertux is already legendary among snowboarders and freeskiers for its varied options.

In close proximity to your ski and wellness hotel Hohenhaus, you'll find other skiing areas such as the Finkenberger Almbahnen, Eggalm, Penken, Mayrhofner Bergbahnen, and of course, the Ski & Glacier World Zillertal 3000. Overall, the Zillertal offers nearly 540 kilometers of slopes and 180 state-of-the-art lifts and cable cars.

Betterpark Hintertux – one of Austria's highest freestyle spots and undoubtedly one of the best snowparks in the Alps. 5 lines (Pro, Medium, Easy-Line, 2 Jib Lines) are waiting for pros, rookies, and beginners. The park is maintained daily by our dedicated shaping team.

The new fun slope – a special winter adventure on the Sommerbergalm at 2,100 meters. After the speed boost, the eight, several snow tunnels, the large snow spiral, two wave tracks, and four big snow waves, Slopy, the mascot, is waiting for high-fives!

Sledging fun in Tuxertal

Sledding is fun, sledding is enjoyable. And here in Tux, you can also indulge in this exhilarating sport at night, as several toboggan runs are illuminated in the evening. You hike up by foot, where you warm up with soup by the cabin's stove, enjoy a tasty punch, and then off you go. Don't forget your helmet – safety first!

Winter and snowshoe hiking in hintertux

Snowshoe hiking through the snow-covered forests and meadows is almost meditative. Perhaps a deer will cross your path while searching for food, or you'll try to recognize animal tracks in the snow. For families, cleared and well-marked winter hiking trails are available. The journey is the destination. Fresh air, a fantastic mountain panorama, unique impressions. That's winter in Tux!

Cross-country skiing in the Zillertal

Luggi Gredler Trail: 14 km classic trail from Tux-Lanersbach to Madseit, 14 km skating track in Juns/Madseit. High-alpine cross-country trail: Classic and skating, about 2 km, near the Höllensteinhütte above Tux-Lanersbach.

In Tux-Lanersbach and Finkenberg, two large natural ice rinks await you for ice skating fun! Ice skating is a pleasure for all generations! It gets even more enjoyable with curling on the four lanes in Tux and two more in Finkenberg. Long-distance shots, target shots, who hits the "Daube" and gets celebrated? Speaking of celebrations: Refreshments are naturally provided, and for those who want to experience this fun in the evenings, ice skating or curling under the moonlight is available in Tux from Tuesday to Sunday.
